Having trouble with Google Photos in Journi?
This guide helps you reconnect your account and understand current limitations when using Google Photos.

Can't access your Google Photos?
If your photos are not loading, your connection may need to be refreshed:
- 1Log out of Journi in the app settings.
- 2Close the app completely.
- 3Reopen the app.
- 4Log back into your account.

If this doesn’t work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to fully reset the connection.
ℹ️
Due to Google restrictions, Journi can only display your
full Google Photos library.
Albums and shared albums are not directly available.

Can't find your albums?
Albums don’t appear as folders, but you can still find them using search:
- 1Open the Google Photos picker in Journi.
- 2Use the search bar and enter your album name.
- 3Select the album from the results.
- 4You’ll now see only photos from that album.

Can't access shared albums?
Google does not allow access to shared albums in third-party apps.
- Download the photos from the shared album.
- They will appear in Journi via your device library.

In Google Photos, open the shared album, tap the three-dot menu, and select Download.
