Privacy settings for Journis

When you create a new Journi, we automatically set it to secret, ensuring your privacy from the start. But the choice is yours! Whether you want to keep your Journi as a personal treasure, share it as a private family album, or open it up to inspire others, you're in control. Your memories, your way! ❤️

Here are the 3 options we offer:

• Public access
  Make your Journi public and share your unique moments with everyone! Inspire others and connect with the community as you showcase your adventures and memories for all to see.
• Restricted access
  Set your Journi to private and choose exactly who gets to see your special moments. Whether it's close family or friends, you have full control over who can access your Journi. Others can see the cover, but won’t be able to open it unless they send a follow request. You decide whether to accept or decline—it's entirely up to you.
• Hidden
  A hidden Journi is your own little hidden treasure. No one can see it, not even the cover, except you. 🤫 If you invite a collaborator or follower, they’ll gain access, but the rest of the world won’t even know it exists. Keep your memories truly private and share them only with those who matter most.

This is how you can change the visibility settings:

1. Open the Journi
2. Click on the 3 dots °°° in the top right corner and click on Manage access
3. Up top select either Public or Restricted or, right underneath, click on Hide Journal in Profile depending on what you'd prefer!
