The easiest way to create a photo book is when you already have a Journal prepared. And the best thing is that this way you can already "create your book" in our blog while you travel and share it with your friends & family 😄
There’s no limit to the number of moments or pictures you can post in your Journal. However, when creating a photo book, you’ll initially be limited to upload 1200 elements (this includes photos, text, graphics...). Once you’ve added the first 1200 elements to your book, you can continue adding more moments later on up to a maximum of 103 pages for LayFlat and 349 pages for Soft Cover and Hard Cover books 😄
This is how you print your Journal from our Blog app:
- Open the Journal
- Click on the bottom right button Print
- We already pre-selected the first 1200 elements for you (or the whole Journal if it's not too big yet) - this is a nice way to see what your album would look like
- Click on Customize your Book which will take you to your draft 🤩
- Now you can edit the book if you want to, but if your Journal was bigger than 1200 elements, please read further:
Is your Journal bigger than 1200 elements, and are you missing a part in your photo book? Here’s how you can add them:
🌟️ There are 2 options here, whether or not you have the Journi Print App (yes, we have 2 apps, Journi Blog and Journi Print, but you don't need to download the second one if you don't want to) 🌟️
➡️ If you already have the Journi Print App:
- In the Journi Print App, open your draft and click on a page
- Click on the + (Add) button
- Click Add photos
- Click on the blue Journi icon in the top right corner to select Journi Blog as a source
- Open the Journal you want to upload to the book
- Select all the elements you’re missing
- Click on Continue and select Insert chronologically
Repeat the steps for all your desired moments in the photo book, and then start editing.
➡️ If you don't have the Journi Print App:
- Go to your blog profile and click on Order photos (iOS) / Shop (Android) next to your profile picture
- Click on Drafts where you will find all your drafts you have already created so far
- Click on the one you need and click on Edit
- Click on a page and then on the + (Add) button
- Click Add photos
- Click on the blue Journi icon in the top right corner to select Journi Blog as a source
- Open the Journal you want to upload to the book
- Select all the elements you’re missing.
- Click on Continue and select Insert chronologically
Repeat the steps for all your desired moments in the photo book, and then start editing.
Now all your elements are uploaded and you can make whatever changes you need to finalize this wonderful and personalized photo book 🤩
