This article explains how to customize your Photo Book cover in the Journi Print app.
To use them, please update to the latest app version: iOS app 7.16.0+ or Android app 7.13.0+.
Use the options in the toolbar to design your cover. Each option below explains what you can customize.
Suggestions
- Browse a selection of predefined cover designs created by our team.
- You can use them as a starting point and still customize all elements.
- Access our Travel Covers here.
Photos / Graphics
Photos
- Add, replace, or remove photos on your cover.
- You can include up to 10 pictures.
- You can create a cover with only pictures and no title.
Graphics (Travel Covers)
- Change the illustration used on Travel Covers.
- The illustration is selected based on location data or a default design.
Title
- Edit the title and choose the font.
- The selected font is used throughout the album.
- You can create a cover with only a title.
- Changing the font size is no longer supported.
- Title alignment depends on the selected Style.
Style
- Choose from 11 layout styles.
- Select between 3 border thickness options.
- All styles also work with Travel Covers.
- Use styles to remove the title or images.
- If a layout is not available, it is currently not supported.
Layout
- Available when your cover has multiple photos.
- Adjust the size and placement of images.
Background
- Choose a background color and adjust the font color.
- For custom colors, the font is automatically set to black or white.
- Predefined colors offer more font color options.
Important notes
- A completely blank cover is not supported.
- We do not recommend using a single-color image, as print colors may not match.
- The spine and back cover match the front cover background color and cannot be customized further.
